This year, 2016, is the year where almost all of the movies which will be released, are sequels of old films. Some of it are already released on the cinema but, there are others that it premier are close. If we count it, we can say that 29 of the movies that are coming this year, are sequels. These are some examples:
ALLEGIANT (First Part)
Allegiant is the 3rd part of the Divergent saga. After the earth-shattering revelations of Insurgent, the protagonists, Tris and Four, must escape beyond the Wall that encircles Chicago to finally discover the shocking truth of what lies behind it. The characters will be the same: Shailene Woodley as Tris, Theo James as Four, Naomi Watts as Evelyn, Ansel Elgort as Caleb,... Allegiant will be divided by two parts. The First part is already released on the cinema on 11th March in Spain.
THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR
This film is the sequel of Snow White and the Huntsman. The evil queen has got a sister. Both of them are evil and they going to conquer the land together. But, Eric the Huntsman and his lover Sara will fight to return the peace to the land again. The characters are the same as in the first film but, Kristen Stewart will be not in this movie, and that is why Snow White disappears in the history. The film will be released on 22nd April.

ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS
Alice through the looking glass is the sequel of Alice in Wonderland. Basically, Alice returns to the magic World of Wonderland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. The cast is the same: Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as White Queen, Mia Wasikowska as Alice Kingsleigh,... The film will be released on 27th May.
